GitHub repository
All public-facing development happens in one repo: github.com/DartNative/dartnative. It’s the single entry point for everything developers interact with:
- Docs: the full documentation set, same content as this site
- The playground: the multi-screen demo app, free to build and run
- Tutorials: twenty-plus complete, runnable apps, one per topic
- Plugin examples: a runnable example app for every plugin
- Issues: bug reports and feature requests; this is the tracker we work from
git clone https://github.com/DartNative/dartnative
Then open any demo folder and run dn run. The free trial covers them all.
How active is this project?
DartNative is developed full-time in private repositories: the engine, the framework, and the tooling see tens of commits a week. What lands in the public repo is the released result: SDK updates, docs, demos, and fixes coming out of the issue tracker. So this repo’s history shows releases, not development pace.
Unlike frameworks that save fixes up for the next big scheduled release, DartNative ships continuously: fixes are published as soon as they’re validated, sometimes several times a week, so the fix you’re waiting for arrives in days, not months. To update, just re-run the install command.
